Tell Me, Inge

Inge Auerbacher's story comes to life through 'Tell Me, Inge,' a project that combines multimodal VR and Conversational Video AI. I played a crucial role in the project as an Executive Producer and Account Manager, overseeing it from start to finish. This involved managing project deliverables and providing editorial support for the website experience and public-facing messaging. My work closely involved collaboration with Meta, StoryFile's in-house tech and content teams, as well as several key vendors, all of whom played vital roles in bringing this project to fruition.

Ethical Metaverse Framework

Right from the initial stages of this project, I worked closely with the StoryFile and Meta team to address the ethical considerations surrounding a conversational video AI project within the Metaverse. Given the complexity of the endeavor, we took a deliberate approach that prioritized human rights and media literacy.

To ensure a well-rounded perspective, we collaborated closely with Human Rights researchers, educators, Holocaust subject matter experts, and organizations with deep expertise in media representation, education, and technological innovation.

Transparency was a cornerstone of our approach. The discussions around AI and the Metaverse demand a comprehensive grasp of both the technological and social consequences. Because our project revolved around human subjects, we consistently framed our technology within the context of human experiences. This included navigating the intricate dynamics of addressing a sensitive topic like the Holocaust and determining the reasons and methods for engaging with emerging technology to make the experience accessible to a broader audience.

Throughout the project, we made sure that the individuals involved had agency. Maintaining Inge's authorship was of utmost importance, as this was ultimately Inge's story, told in her own words.
