I am a generalist and storyteller who went to film school in Southern California. Film school taught me a lot about storytelling and how stories can save a life, help solve a problem, provide a new perspective, and help us feel more deeply. I decided to study stories more deeply and get a PhD in Media Studies. This journey has led me down a multifaceted communications career path. I’ve learned how to center and share human rights stories, help audiences and customers better understand the possibilities of emerging technology and artificial intelligence, help organizations tell more compelling stories about their employees, and teach students about media history. I see all these experiences as interconnected. I help organizations and people navigate ambiguity. Sometimes, there’s a big light bulb moment, and other times; it comes through small repetitions over time that create lasting change.
